If your bed has a headboard and/or footboard, you may not be able to use the pyramid shaped canopy as this is not taken into account in the sizing. Please consider a box shaped canopy instead. Please bear in mind that these canopies surround the bed and over the top of the bed. You will still need to screen under the bed if you are not on the ground floor, to stop RF coming up underneath the bed. When correctly installed, the canopies reduce the RF power levels by over 99% and up to 99.995%. However, it is important to note that a mobile phone will often still be able to receive a call (and sometimes make a call too) from inside the canopy. If there is a 1 V/m signal in the bedroom (a not uncommon level in many places now) then it would need to reduce the incoming RF power by 99.9995% to stop the mobile phone handset ringing. The correct way to test the shielding factor is to use a good meter like the Acoustimeter and compare the RF power outside to that inside the canopy. » Customer rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
